- Support for Windows Vista.
- It now tracks files on network shares. If you modify a file on a mapped network drive it correctly versions the file and places it correctly in the tree for that drive letter.
- The repository can now be located on a network share.
- Added support for Active directory in addition to workgroup environments.
- A visual indicator has been added to the desktop icons of all document with archived version histories.
- A visual indicator has been added to the desktop icons of all Tracked and Ignored directory folders.
- "Track this folder" and "Ignore this folder" options have been added to the Windows context-sensitive pop-up menu. You can now right-click on top of any directory and configure Versomatic to track or ignore the directory. It is no longer necessary to go to Preferences to do this.
- All columns in the Version Manager can now be sorted by clicking on the column headers.
- Minor re-arrangement of some items in the the Preferences->General tab.
- Added three options to the Archive Size maintenance options. You can now choose to:
- Let Versomatic prune the archive automatically without alerting you.
- Alert you when the archive size has reached your set limits and give you the option to prune automatically or prune manually.
- Do nothing an allow the archive to continue to grow in size indefinitely without bothering you.
- Assorted compatibility and performance enhancing improvements.

Versomatic for Mac OS X Change History
Build 54 Notes - Version 1.0.2
- This build introduces Japanese language support and a special version of the software only available in Japan.
- This update lets users who've tried prior builds trial the software again for up to 30 days.
- Includes assorted fixes needed for it to run reliably under the most current pre-release version of Jaguar. We continue to track Mac OS X "Jaguar" to ensure Versomatic works perfectly with it upon its release late 2007.
- Licensed owners will no longer get nagged to reenter their serial number under certain conditions.
Build 49 Notes - Version 1.0.1
- Versomatic now respects the privacy of the "\Users" directory. Previous versions of files within each user's \Users directory are no longer accessible to other users.
- Fixed the incompatibility with FileVault.
- The ".sparceimage" file type is now ignored internally by default. This is the file type of FileVault archives and was necessary in order to correct the FileVault incompatibility.
- Fixed the incompatibility with Speed Download.

- You can now eject an external drive containing the active repository after stopping the Versomatic service.
- After moving the repository from an external drive to the startup drive you can now eject the external drive.
- Purging revisions now recalculates sizes properly.
- The uninstaller no longer freezes under certain conditions.
- Holding down the Shift key while choosing a revision in the contextual pop-up menu now creates a dated copy of the selected revision instead of opening the file.
- Choosing "Show Version Manager" from the contextual pop-up menu now opens the viewer/manager window with the chosen file selected in the viewer.
- Added a Purchase Versomatic and Activate Versomatic desktop shortcuts during the activation process.
- The contextual pop-up menu no longer requires a restart after changing the repository location.
- Versomatic no longer archives files deleted from the local disk by the Finder's CD or DVD burning feature.

- Fixed delay in Finder when moving and deleting files.
- Fixed crash with SVN and any other app that does not have a app identifier, eg. (com.acertant.versomatic, com.apple.finder).
- Added date formatting to take the system defaults for foreign languages.
- Implemented Export of multiple revisions.
- Quick Menu now shows the last x number of files of any type versioned when selected in the Finder. When a program is on top only displays files belonging to the active application.
- Major viewer facelift added columns for file type and size as well as being able to sort the list alphabetically, by type and by size.
- Tracked and ignored folders that are symbolic links are now handled properly.
- Bug with file types showing in the ignored directory list has been fixed.

General
Versomatic for Mac OS X is not a "port" of the Windows version. It was created from scratch using XCode in Objective-C and every relevant Apple native technology available. It is a Universal binary and will run natively on both PowerPC and Intel processors.
